When Your Best Isn’t Good Enough

What happens when you’ve done your best but your best just isn’t good enough for your partner?

Some people won’t accept that you are giving it your best because you don’t do things exactly like they would.  It’s really aggravating when you may not even agree with what needs to be done in the first place, but you give it your all anyway, only to go unnoticed.

The real problem is that your partner is trying to change you and you should never have to change someone to be with them.  If you feel the need to change someone, then you probably shouldn’t be in a relationship. Continue reading “When Your Best Isn’t Good Enough”

Inspirational Movement Please Stop Stealing Our Words

If you’ve ever heard anyone tell you that your health is wealth then you’ve been exposed to the self-serving inspirational movement. This movement has been continuously stealing common words from the English language just to get their philosophy out there and to cause people to think differently.

Unfortunately, this is causing a literary apocalypse that is forcing writers to consider whether or not to add descriptors to words that historically had a very clear and precise definition. Descriptors, like “financial wealth”, which according to the dictionary is still redundant.

I have been in hundreds of facebook arguments and I always win, no exceptions. There are many strategies you can use to win any facebook argument. The goal of having a facebook argument is to entertain yourself while you are bored and to waste as much time of other people as you possibly can by hooking them into the argument.

This is a double edged sword, if you enter into a facebook argument with someone that is just as bored as you are, the debates can go on for days and span the length of a novel, at this point it doesn’t matter who wins, you’ve both wasted your time. Instead of arguing with each other, that time should be spent in wasting the time of people who are already short on time. Continue reading “How to Win Any Facebook Argument”

Science Is Not Concerned With Facts

Science is not fact nor is it based on factual evidence. Science is very simply the act of interpreting an observation of our environment and is limited by the tools we have available for observing. Then scientific fact as a result is only the most supported interpretation of scientific observation, or in other words, the most favored opinion of the things being observed.

Throughout history every scientific observation, no matter how favorable, always has a dissenting opinion from a less favorable group. One thing that is factual about scientific opinions is that they will always be refuted. Continue reading “Science Is Not Concerned With Facts”
